BLOW JOB: LICENSING BOARD BLOWS IT ON BEI TEMPI RULING … AN ACT OF POLITICS, NOT POLICY

BY DAN VALENTI

PLANET VALENTI NEWS AND COMMENTARY

(FORTRESS OF SOLITUDE, WEDNESDAY JULY 1, 2026) — They chose politics over policy.

THE PLANET speaks of the Bitchfield Licensing Board’s five-day suspension of Bei Tempi’s (the former Crossroads) liquor license. The bar will go dry beginning July 6.

The board blew it. Yeah, it’s a blow job. The decision is soooo Lumpyville, mainly because it leaves the city wide open for a lawsuit. The board took action because THEY THINK the joint served one under aged girl. They don’t know! Amazing. The only explanation that makes sense is that this is a political hit job ordered from above, most likely.

Double dipper Kathy Amuso,  who should have aged out of the public’s hair long ago, said this: “And can we say for sure they were [serving a minor]? No.”

They can’t say for sure.

Bored member Jon Lifvergen, who apparently has nothing better to do with his evenings than to harass a small, local business, said Bai Tempi “more likely than not” broke the law.” Why does he believe that? He tells us: “I just think it’s conventional wisdom. … It’s conceivable. It’s possible …”

Right, Lifver.

It’s also “conceivable”  that aliens have a base deep under the lunar surface, and it’s possible for a pitcher to throw 200 innings without giving up a run or a hit. Not likely, though.

———- ooo ———-

For the sake of argument, though, allow THE PLANET to admit that it’s “conceivable” and “possible” that the bar served one of two 17-year-olds. Even if that happened, we point out:

  • If board members did their homework, you would know that the establishment does a rigorous job of verifying ages.
  • No system is foolproof.
  • The complaint came from one mother, who complained essentially that the bar and not she as the parent of a 17-year-old girl should be responsible for the child’s actions. This same “mom”  made the same complaint, and it put the former Poncho’s at 152 North St. out of business. Looks like for whatever reason “mom’s” little sweetheart has a taste for booze. Wonder why? Might the answer be the root cause here?

The most egregious aspect of the board’s hearing is that video footage fails to confirm the allegations. In other words, the board imposed a heavy financial penalty on a small business that can’t afford such harassment, despite the fact that the board can’t prove what they assert. That’s a lawsuit begging to be filed.

When asked what the board’s legal exposure is now that they have taken this action, THE PLANET‘s legal expert responded: “They’re wide open.”

———- ooo ———-

This is the favorite brew of the city licensing board.

It’s also interesting that when you go to Bitchfield’s official website at pittsfieldma.gov and under “Boards and Commissions” click the hot link for the licensing board, you can’t find the names of any of its members. The only name listed is that of the board secretary, Emily Fetridge. Looks like the Lumpyites scrubbed the site of accountability.

Fits right in with Mayor Lumpy’s preference for secrecy over transparency.

Simply as a precaution, next time you’re in a barroom and Lumpy’s there, when you hear “bottoms up,” scan the area for petroleum jelly. There may be 17 year olds present.

We also offer this free advice to any entrepreneur who’s thinking of using private capital to start a business in Bitchfield: “Don’t!!!”

“Bitchfield Blow Job” summarizes the openly gay Mayor whose “One Pittsfield” tagline really means retribution against those who do not support Lumpy’s failed mayoral administration.

Mayor Peter Marchetti’s “Shit Sandwich” list:

I request a 90-day grace period free from criticisms.

I hate Social Media outlets because it is all “Doom and Gloom” about Pittsfield. Of course, there is no self-reflection by Mayor Peter Marchetti over his failed mayoral administration.

I refuse to speak to blogger Dan Valenti because he allows FREE SPEECH that is unfavorable to my controversial public record of scandals and lawsuits.

I also know that Earl and the other Pete refuse to speak to Valenti because Pittsfield is NOT really a democracy, but rather, it is an insular cult of fools.

I always spend a record-breaking amount of taxpayer dollars with no fiscal responsibility. The fictional Kapanski’s are the Mayor’s ATM, doormat, and worse (a toilet that city officials shit on).

I have a BIG beer belly, the other Pete is called “Voltron the Pork-Chop”, and Earl is otherwise known as “the Dumpster” who comprises the third member of “The 3 Stooges” in Pittsfield City Hall.

Pittsfield is in a downward spiral.

It has the 2nd highest Commercial Tax Rate of all municipalities in Massachusetts. Its Residential Tax Rate is borne by mostly older homeowners who protest Pittsfield’s always spending tens of millions of dollars per fiscal year MORE than Pittsfield’s peer small cities such as Westfield and Fitchburg.

North Street has between 15 to 25 empty storefronts. North Street is sarcastically called “Social Services Alley”. The inner-city neighborhoods that surround North Street are sarcastically called “The Ring of Poverty”.

Many of Pittsfield public schools are rated Level 5 with a record-breaking 679 students who chose to choice out to neighboring public school districts in the 2025 – 2026 academic year. Faculty turnover is around one to three years.

Pittsfield’s violent crime rate has more than doubled the Massachusetts statewide average since at least 1980.

The only growth in Pittsfield is with the Mayor’s BIG beer belly, the large underclass population, and Earl and the 2-Pete’s record-breaking spending of taxpayer dollars.

With Mayor Peter Marchetti’s request of a grace period, hating social media, refusing to talk to blogger Dan Valenti, along with the other Pete and Earl, always spending record-breaking taxpayer dollars, excessively taxing businesses, over-taxing mostly older homeowners, treating the people like his ATM, doormat, and worse (a toilet), sporting his BIG beer belly, along with all of Pittsfield’s serious problems listed above, the “Bitchfield Blow Job” episode is just another “Shit Sandwich”.

Are you suggesting a “bitchfield shake”down?? The old pay to play or quid pro quo Joe style of democracy? My question is who is running around filming this girl instead of getting her help? Is she drinking because she was one of the “dancin Queenies teenage queens? Lots of questions on this one.
Just heard stealin Healey will be in the Pitts today…hide your wallets and purses!
As for the boards of Pittsfield I don’t believe any of them listed still meet. The website that the Pitts use is basically the pits

Why is this failing City so against this poor owner. Years ago she owned Zuke’s Soups on
West Street. The City inspectors put her through shear hell, even complained about her having a toaster. No matter what she did, the City shut her down, she finally threw in the towel. As someone that worked in that area, she served great breakfast and lunch. What has she done to deserve this? Even people in their 50’s and 60’s have stated they are carded when entering the bar. What are they going to go after next, Zuccos, because it is a nice family restaurant.

This City is so behind with their website. Previous Mayors only had one assistant and records were kept up, now for some reason the Mayor needs two. It’s not like the City is growing, it’s shrinking. Saw the other day that the Fire Department was called to Candle Lanes for a fire alarm, the City put Candle Lanes out of business in 2018, there is nothing there now. What about the big rip down Ken’s bowling alley on Dalton Avenue, it’s just an overgrown pot smelling concrete field. So much for fun entertainment in Pittsfield. Also most of the members of boards are high egotistical slime buckets and love the title, not the work.

Did notice that the administrations favorite WANDER is holding a DRAG Bingo this weekend, much more fun to this Administration than 4th of July Fireworks. I am sure the twoPete’s will be attending. Isn’t it kind of funny that WANDER’s directions states “enter through the alley”, when all of North Street store fronts are empty.

Speaking of the cancellation of the fireworks. Lumpy stated he could have taken $20,000 out of the “Emergency Funds”. This is really sickening with the taxes we pay that the budget is that tight. City is in worse condition than I thought. Where is the money going?

With the stress caused by the Hormuz, bribes are higher and available margins for graft shrinking. That’s why they only pave the crowns. Can’t fix a price that even marginally covers the surface.

You live amongst gangsters and cultists. That is how they govern. Recall that they removed all ethical training and standards for all the civic boards two years back.

If anyone else was in the presidential
office for the 250 anniversary of our country Lumpy would have found the dough for the fireworks and much more to celebrate it. He is just following the loons who have TDS and punishing those citizens who just want to celebrate 250 and not the political agenda.

I agree. Such a bunch of phonies in Pittsfield politics. Now the local Democrat crazies will be shooting off more of their own fireworks and turning the city into a war zone once again, but worse than usual. Of course they really don’t want you to enjoy the 4th of July so this is why these neighborhood fireworks are used so much in Democrat states. Remember years ago when it was ONLY a public display of fireworks by the city at the end of the day on the 4th and it was enough. The Good Old Days are gone.

I couldn’t agree more Pat. The good old days of Pittsfield are long gone.

The 4th of July parade in the morning, family picnics in the afternoons, followed by a game and/or fireworks at Wahconah Park.

Replaced by the panhandlers, drug addicts, “houseless,” trash, neglected ballpark, a so-so parade, and gunfire and the scourge associated with it.

Tricia Farley-Country Buffet (d-illegal aliens) and Linda “Flat” Tyer-Clairmont, are to be thanked for a large majority of this.

Those two made off like bandits in “state grant money,” blessing us with all of this diversity from the Boston and Worcester area during the COVID Scamdemic.

If a city councilor with any clout told marchetti he wanted the crosswalks on Tyler street painted he would do it. Perhaps Milltown could chime in as that usually gets the mayor hopping. Or even next mayor wannabee Persip. Those lower income folk jaywalking all day long on Tyler street are people too Mr. mayor. Even if they did not contribute to your campaign, they are still good hard working people who pay taxes.

Only problem with the Planets theory is, no liar will take Zuccos case.

Obviously conscience of guilt, was reason for removing names of perpetrators- conspiracy 101- compartmentalization of information.

Mom’s obviously a delusional democrat, who probably has no idea of girls sperm donor. So DEI policies, mandate blaming any business person.

They were informed years prior to most recent killings, of Grupi and Rathbun’s criminal activities.
Hence the reason, Rathbun never issued the body cameras, which sat unopened under her desk.
Conscience of guilt, why no negligence charges from Timmy the fixers Distracted Attorneys office. MSP Lt Ryan Dickinson, received evidence March 12/2024 of Dalton and Hinsdale police harassment , intimidation and attempted extortion, to release MSP internal affairs Mike Hill’s pals truck held for storage and mechanics lien.

You complain endlessly about the failed politicians and their politics here in MA. Help me understand what “Cringe Card” you are talking about when your governor states she doesn’t want to “MA up NH?”

Do you believe only people from MA are allowed to criticize MA politicians and their politics, such as yourself?

Gay woman cannot be criticized in your beliefs? You repeatedly criticize your “openly gay” cousin, Mayor Lumpy, so it’s not gay men.

These are the only two (somewhat) logical reasons I could come up with, as to why you wouldn’t want to “MA up NH.”

He pictured fireworks bursting, the sky painted loud—
He imagined applause from a patriotic crowd. But on July third morning, with coffee in hand,
He checked the event binder—his patriotic plan.
He flipped through the pages, his smile growing thin…
For the “FIREWORKS VENDOR” page was suspiciously blank within. He blinked. He gulped. He whispered, “Oh no.”
He flipped it again, hoping details would show.
But the page stayed empty—no contract, no name—
Just a sticky note reading: “Call vendor?” (A shame.)Lumpy’s staff gathered, trembling like leaves.
His assistant confessed, “We… forgot. Please believe
We meant to call someone—BoomCo or SparkWorks—
But we got distracted by Old Man Pickles’ quirks.”Lumpy staggered backward, clutching his chest.
“No fireworks? On the Fourth? This is worse than the rest
Of the disasters we’ve had—like the Gazebo Fire Night,
Or the time the parade float achieved accidental flight!”He paced through the office, his toupee in distress,
His workers all shrinking beneath his duress.
He muttered, “The town will revolt. They’ll riot. They’ll scream.
They’ll chase me with glow sticks. They’ll shatter my dream.”He tried calling vendors—every number he found—
But each one replied, “Sorry, we’re booked. Not a sound
We can offer tomorrow. You’re too late, my friend.”
And Lumpy knew then that his reign might soon end.So he marched to the square with a sorrowful sigh,
And announced to the town, “No fireworks this July.
My staff forgot the vendor. The sky will stay dark.
We’ll celebrate quietly—with lemonade in the park.”The townsfolk erupted in chaos and groans.
A toddler threw sparklers. A dog stole some cones.
Patriot Pete, the eagle, shrieked in despair—
And Lumpy’s toupee tried escaping mid‑air. But Lumpy stood firm, though his pride took a hit.
He declared, “Next year, we’ll plan better. I swear every bit.
We’ll triple‑check vendors. We’ll confirm every spark.
We’ll make sure the sky lights up bright after dark.”And though Bitchfield sulked through a quiet July,
They forgave him eventually—Lumpy’s a good guy.

For even a mayor can slip up on a task…
Especially when paperwork’s buried beneath a flask.

Nothing screams Happy 4Th like Drag Queen Story Hour. Herman Melvilles house will be hosting this glorious event. WTF. A Moby Dick dressed as a Woman, hoping to groom our children.

I’m sure that Mayor Lumpy will be reading to the kids in drag. The boring broadsheet will have it on the front page while residents still wonder how inept Lumpy is by not having fireworks. He’ll blame EVERYONE except himself.

Gov. Healey took time out of her illegal aliens first, MA residents last campaign, and stopped in Bitchfield to deliver another $2,000,000 in state grant money to the Berkshire Innovation Center (BIC).

I was curious how much taxpayer money has been given to BIC since 2015, and how many actual jobs exist because of it. I ran it through an AI platform and found the following:

The Berkshire Innovation Center (BIC) has secured approximately $27.5 million in total public funding since 2015, and yes, it has directly contributed to creating and retaining hundreds of regional manufacturing jobs.
Rather than acting as a direct manufacturer itself, the BIC operates as a shared research, development, and workforce training hub designed to anchor and scale existing small-to-medium-sized advanced manufacturing firms.

Funding Breakdown (Since 2015)
The funding received by the BIC consists of structural capital grants, federal workforce development awards, and recent technology hub expansions:

  • Initial Construction & Capital ($13.4 million): Secured through the state (upped from an initial $9.7 million allocation) to officially break ground on the 20,000-square-foot facility, which opened in 2020.
  • Advanced Optics Lab & TechHub Expansion ($11.6 million combined): A series of major state and local economic development fund injections—including a $5.2 million and a follow-up $2 million award from the Massachusetts TechHubs Program—to establish the Advanced Manufacturing for Advanced Optics (AMAO) Lab.
  • Federal & Workforce Development ($1.9 million+): Includes a $914,465 federal grant via the U.S. Department of Commerce (plus $330,000 in local matches) to build the BIC Manufacturing Academy, alongside a $735,000 federal allocation for a cybersecurity testing room.
  • Clean Tech Initiative ($250,000): A Department of Energy “Make It” award to recruit clean energy manufacturing firms to the region.

**Manufacturing Job Creation & Economic Impact
Because the BIC’s model centers on workforce training and corporate partnerships, its job-creation metrics are divided into program projections and anchor tenant expansions:

  • Workforce Training Pipeline: The federal investment into the BIC Manufacturing Academy is projected to create 270 jobs and retain 153 existing advanced manufacturing positions throughout Berkshire County by upskilling the local workforce

With this information, I was curious what the ROI was on 153 advanced manufacturing positions at the cost of $27,500,000.

The results: Each of those 153 jobs cost taxpayers $179,738.

So, in order for the taxpayer to see any return on their investment, each job would have to pay the employee north of $200,000.

Federal Benchmark: Standard programs like the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) aim for a benchmark of $35,000 to $85,000 per job created.

State Averages: Highly competitive, localized incentive programs frequently land around $50,000 to $100,000 per job depending on the state.

Bottom Line: At $179,738, this deal sits well above the typical average. It may only be viable if the associated payroll is exceptional or if the development transforms a heavily distressed local market.

***Talk about a money laundering operation. I’d love to see the list of these “153 jobs created” and where they are located at.

Is there any room left in your van going to the Washington mall this Saturday Markus? Sounds like a fun time. Gotta park a mile away. Can only bring one bottle of water even though it may be 100 degrees. No coolers or food brought in. (gotta pay the high rip off prices of trump vendor friends) Very tight security. No sunscreen even though it will be absolutely baking in the sun. This is true. No insect repellant. Fireworks not till midnight and trump speaking at 11pm. Sure hate to miss all that. Damn!!!

Please do a review for us Sunday morn cuz some of us may not be able to make it.

“I support China,” is all that needs to be said about you.

I do find it ironic that you’ll put down our country’s 250th celebration and those who want to celebrate it, but have no issue putting on a wig, wearing makeup, a bra and thong, and a miniskirt, and then go read (groom) to children, and call that entertainment.

China is by far the world leader in wind and solar energy, and I support that one hundred percent.

Why do local taxpayers say that Earl and the 2-Pete’s Pittsfield politics pounds punishes pulverizes punishes people’s purses?

Answer: Because it is the perfect poetic political phrase that encapsulates the frustrating, wallet-draining side of local government in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. Local taxpayers use this heavily alliterative, exaggerated phrase to criticize local leadership for always excessively increasing municipal spending, tax rates, and housing costs.

Local critics use this alliteration to express frustration over rising municipal taxes, fee increases, and local government spending in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. They attribute these financial pressures directly to the governing decisions of career politicians Mayor Peter Marchetti, At-Large [City] Councilor [President] Earl Persip III, and other incumbent city officials (notably City Councilor V.P. Pete White).

Context of Taxpayer Frustrations

While the specific, highly rhythmic string of verbs (“pounds, punishes, pulverizes, punishes”) reads like an opinionated campaign slogan or local forum commentary, it stems from standard fiscal grievances in local municipal politics:

Rising Housing & Tax Costs: Critics use this kind of rhetoric during election seasons to highlight rising property taxes and the increasing cost of living, arguing that incumbent policies hurt residents’ finances. Pittsfield (Mass.) has the 2nd highest Commercial Tax Rate in Massachusetts.

Incumbent Dominance: Because career politicians Earl Persip, Peter White, and Peter Marchetti have held leadership positions across multiple terms, fiscally conservative or challenger factions often frame them as a unified political establishment responsible for the city’s budgetary burdens.
