BIPOLAR PROTEST: RISING TO OUR GOODNESS OR YIELDING TO THE PERVERSE?

PLANET VALENTI NEWS AND COMMENTARY

(FORTRESS OF SOLITUDE, WEDNESDAY JUNE 3, 2020) — One overlooked fact in George Floyd’s death is the composition of the quartet of complicit Minneapolis police officers. Central Casting provided the four, a group consisting of a white, a black, a Latino, and an Asian. Can you get more “inclusive and diverse?”

The infamous “neck” video shows three officers pinning Floyd to the ground, with whitey doing heavy leaning. Only the white guy faces criminal charges. Why?

Also, how does Floyd’s  acquaintance with Officer Chauvin figure into the scenario? Both worked overlapping security shifts at the same hispanic night club, El Nuevo Rodeo. The club owner says they knew each other. That might suggest Chauvin’s premeditated intent when he responded to a call from a shopkeeper saying Floyd tried to pay for a purchase with a counterfeit $20.   Did the two men have previous bad blood? Was it mere chance that brought them together for the fateful encounter?

The Minneapolis Police Department and the mayor fired all four officers. Even though the police chief called the other three “complicit” in Floyd’s death, they have not been charged with a crime. Is it because they are minorities? The other three haven’t even been identified, although THE PLANET source identified the Asian as Tou Thao.

———- ooo ———-

A new 21-second security video seems to support the claim that Floyd resisted arrest. The film shows Floyd refusing to get into the police car. He keeps moving then deliberately falls to avoid getting in the vehicle. How can we interpret these actions except to say he resisted lawful arrest? If that’s the case, while it does not excuse the death-by-knee, it provides mitigation for the police action. When the cops stop you, stay calm and comply, comply, comply.

Invariably, some of the ancillary discussion reverted back to slavery and reparations, especially from young, white, and obviously well-off protesters.

“The white people are getting scared,” said one college age woman who wouldn’t identify herself. But America does not want to confront its past … nobody will talk about slavery.”

This is what decades of not teaching history and replacing facts with propaganda have produced. How much could that girl tell us about the Emancipation Proclamation? The end of Jim Crow? The Civil Rights Act? The Southern Christian Leadership Conference? The history of the Civil Rights movements and players such as Ralph Abernathy, Martin King, and Malcolm X, or even H. Rap Brown, Eldridge Cleaver, Huey Newton, Angela Davis, and others? What can she say about the rising tide for blacks in all facets of society, not just sports and entertainment? Bet she can tell us everything about Snooky and the Kardashians, though.

Racial equity hasn’t been achieved, of course. Much works remains. The leaderless mob violence of the demonstrations following Floyd’s death, however, won’t get America there. In fact, they will negate progress and cause regression, repression, and backlash.

The bipolar demonstrations have been about protest and “protest,” with mostly legitimate expressions in the day and beastly bands of roving gangs by night. The first draws a healthy mix of races. The second is overwhelmingly young, male, and black. The first are expressing their Constitutional rights. The second are expressing their depravation — police officers shot or run down by vehicles in St. Louis, Las Vegas, and Buffalo … in D.C., the Lincoln Memorial and the WWII Memorial defaced.

“Nobody will talk about slavery” — ?? Seriously, girl?

That’s all America has done since the Civil War. It hasn’t been perfect, but we are not Don Larsen onOct. 8, 1956 at Yankee Stadium. It is America, June 2020. Good people try their best with love, hard work, and decency. The scum exploit this goodness with an appeal to the Imp of the Perverse that lives in the darkness of every person’s soul.

In all of this, Who Are You?

When we are born, we know nothing about race. As we grow up, we learn about race. We learn about love and hate, good and evil, money and power versus compassion and equality. We make choices in our lives. I hope to be a good person who always chooses love, compassion and equality over hate, money and power. I am far from perfect, but I know it is my choice to lead a good life and do right by my fellow humans.

Floyd death had nothing to do with racism. And everything to do with an overweight drugged up man with health problems who committed another felony, refused to get in police car, threw himself to the ground (resisting arrest) and poor police tactics resulting in positional asphyxia, leading to death. Dan, you would need a fem dyke, or a trans officer to round out the quartet to the satisfaction of the Pelosi Progressives.

With all the ubiquitous respect for everyone and everything. I observed that at least one Pittsfield Police Officer is lucky to weigh in at 100 lbs and has perhaps 5 inch biceps. What is the personal space, psychological defense intimidation issues, when attempting to arrest a 6’7″ , 260 lb, man that does want to comply with verbal instructions. Something has to innately kick in. Realizing four officers were involved in the Floyd arrest, it seems like there still would be a personal defense mechanism over reaction. Not an excuse for brutality , but a consideration.

So you go to the store today and unknowingly pass a fake 20 and as you drive down east street you are pulled over with 4 cops responding and your dead in 10 minutes. You of course would endure the torture because you are healthy and a lack of oxygen never bothers people you know who take care of themselves.

The blue wall of silencethin blue line, also blue code and blue shield, are terms used in the United States to denote the informal rule among police not to report on a colleague’s errors, misconducts, or crimes, including police brutality. If questioned about an incident of alleged misconduct involving another officer (e.g., during the course of an official inquiry), while following the code, the officer being questioned would claim ignorance of another officer’s wrongdoing or claim to have not seen anything.

The imbecile and senile Biden left his bunker to declare that police, when confronted with an unarmed person threatening police with a knife, should shoot subject in leg instead of aiming for heart. Cops don’t aim for heart, they are trained to shoot center mass of target to increase chance of hitting target. A miss can result in officer being killed with knife, which by the way Biden, is a deadly weapon. This is right up there with his shotgun Joe comments. My God is he an idiot. The dems better dump him real quick or Trump will win again.

The first order of government is to assure domestic tranquility. Trump better send in the troops and restore order because these democratic governors are letting cities burn, and be looted, and letting their outnumbered cops get a whipping. The mayors and governors should be ashamed, as well as some of the police chiefs who are standing down.

Reuters reported that 13 members of the Biden campaign recently posted on Twitter about their donations to the Minnesota Freedom Fund, a group that uses such donations to pay bail fees of rioters arrested in violent protests.
A Biden campaign spokesman declined to answer whether the donations to the Antifa-aligned group were officially coordinated with the Biden campaign.
Instead of donating to the family of George Floyd, Biden campaign staff is helping to bail out individuals arrested during riots where widespread looting, arson, and vandalism took place.

Somewhat impressed that the Chief and Mayor are on top of the Antifa fascists and their possible visit to our humble burgh.

By fascists, I mean the new Stalinism–same diff.

Well, yeah, Councillor Persip, that’s the problem with looting and destruction. Tends to distract from the point of the protests, which was what, again?

So perhaps best to focus on the looting and destruction first–because people are SCARED OUT OF THEIR MINDS of these crazy idiots.

I mean, why would I want to go anywhere near a black person now or their “supporters”? or ever again? Might get my car burnt or my head smashed or my store ransacked.

And so tear gas, rubber bullets, and real bullets sound good to me.

First Amendment grants the right to PEACEABLY assemble, I believe.

Madam Mayor is pretty close on Antifa, but the presence of neo-Nazis and white supremacists isn’t all that necessary (99% not) for them to show up. More like cause trouble because we’re getting paid $20/hour (with overtime) by folks like Soros.

No tear gas was used on the protesters in Washington when they were trying to clear them, but it would have been fine with me if they did since the attempted burning down of Washington the night before was not something I want to see in my country. Bottles were thrown at Bill Barr shortly before President Trump’s speech in the Rose Garden. Moving the protesters along was very necessary. The Rachel Maddow show was full of lies last night including saying that tear gas was used.

Courts have declared the “madcow” is not news, entertainment only.

https://www.newsmax.com/reagan/roberts-kavanaugh-maddow/2020/06/02/id/970078/

Redstate’s analysis of her defense is worth pondering, “Here lies the real humor in this decision. In the process of denigrating OAN as an illegitimate news source, Rachael Maddow had to rest on the defense that what she was delivering was itself illegitimate ‘infotainment.’ By her own admission, the primetime hostess has declared her own words to be little more than sparkly storytelling. While the network has appealed the decision, in a manner OAN has won a victory. It managed to get Rachael Maddow to declare in court records that she is a fabulist whose reporting does not need to be taken as the least bit accurate.”

So, we have a mix of ethnic backgrounds in the four officers. Then, maybe it’s time we moved the conversation from race to talking about the few overly empowered, arrogant, under-trained, unqualified, militaristic police? That’s not to say all cops are bad anymore than all people are bad, so let’s talk about blueberries instead.

As someone with far more years and wisdom told me: “People are like a pint of blueberries. It only takes one bad one to rot the rest. You’ve gotta throw out the bad ones to save the rest.”

I don’t know how true that is about people, but I can tell you for sure, it sure does apply to blueberries.

A black woman whose business had just been destroyed confronted her attackers and Said “I’m black and I thought you all are saying that black lives matter? So if my life matters, why did you just destroy my store that I worked my entire life to build?” There were black and white young people in the group and they just said some nasty remark back to this poor woman. After watching this whole mess I don’t think I like people no matter what color they are.
Also, what is the real message from the protesters and how long do they feel they have to march to get that message across? I mean are they just waiting for all cops to quit their jobs or what? Their message seems to suggest that they don’t want any cops any more anywhere because they are treating them ALL like shit. And if that is NOT their message they should make that clear because that is the way it is coming across.

And, Obama wanted to unify jack-squat, by the way. He was, and is, all about the cash. And me, me, me.

I think Obama orchestrated the Russian collusion hoax for payback against Trump on the birther thing, and probably other things.

So, yeah, he wants to “unify.”

I agree with so many African American men I heard last night saying that what is happening in America now on our streets is “evil”. Marxism is behind much of it and Antifa is doing the dirty work. Children as young as 12 and 13 years ago being encouraged to attack police is evil. Young people being recruited by Antifa to start riots and burn buildings is evil.

https://www.wnd.com/2020/06/gun-stocks-skyrocket-violent-riots-continue/

Gun stocks have skyrocketed as protests and riots continue throughout the United States following the death of George Floyd.

A number of ammunition and gun makers were trading sharply higher after the weekend of nationwide riots, including Sturm, Ruger & Co., ammunition maker Vista Outdoor, Gunmakers American Outdoor Brands and the taser stun gun maker Axon Enterprise, Fox Business reported.
TRENDING: Man arrested for looting admits what it’s really all about
Sturm, Ruger & Co. increased 9.5% to $68.24, while Smith & Wesson Brands Inc. increased 16% to $13.66, according to The Wall Street Journal.
Investors factored in the possibility that violence might have already been propelling the gun sales, Fox Business reported.

A rise in gun sales had already begun during the coronavirus pandemic as Americans worried that states would deem gun stores non-essential. April gun sales had risen 71% since 2019 to almost 1.8 million gun sales, data released by Small Arms Analytics and Forecasting showed.

This data followed a massive year-over-year increase in gun sales in March at 85%, according to Fox Business.

Other companies that provide security cameras and video transmission products used by law enforcement also saw massive increases in stock value, according to Market Watch. Stock for Cemtrex, a technology company that owns the security camera business Vicon, more than tripled in value and rose 224% in trading.

How many public workers were out violating social distancing guidelines this past weekend? These people shut down businesses (in the case of Mayor Bernard quite literally shut down North Adams largest employer permanently,) told us we have to stay locked in our homes indefinitely, fined and threatened jail sentences on people for wanting to open their small business, yet the second there is a photo op opportunity they put their concerns about public health aside. I thought a link to a few photos below would show you how concerned your local leaders are about public health.

Virus infections were going up before the protesters started yelling and screaming in each others faces. We can forget about any contact tracing from here on out. It may be luck of the draw as to who survives but look for a “super pandemic” before the month is out. We have gone down the rabbit hole and the cartoon we are living in is about to be shown in high definition on the big screen. One day we are all practicing social distancing and the next day millions of people are parading elbow to elbow up and down the streets like the virus never existed.
It is utterly fascinating to me that anthropologists compare the brain of a human and an ape and suggest that the human is the smarter of the two. Seriously, where is the evidence of THAT!!!

Healey is such a big disappointment. She is a brilliant woman that is corrupted by politics. She won’t move on any crime unless it has a political angle. Lelling might be more honest – he seems to go where the crime is.
Re the posturing – there was an article I saw by Gerald Baker in the Times of England about how one party system Democrat’s have run Minneapolis for 30 years and they could have fixed the police department. They hired and fired the chiefs. But they also take the most money from the police unions – I think that is true in MA too.
I am tired of this all Covid – post Covid-nightmare as everyone else must be as well. I hope people not traveling internationally by plane helps the Berkshires with their business. I hope you all have a peaceful and pleasant day.

When our own attorney general condones the burning of buildings of innocent people it makes me wonder if she is on crack. Many of the local bigwigs like their coke and I’m not talking about the soft drink. I will never ever vote for another Democrat in a state or federal election.

A Massachusetts man is facing an assault charge after he allegedly threw a large pickle from a moving vehicle that hit a Vermont highway worker, police said.
The incident occurred just before 6 p.m. Monday on U.S. Route 7 in Pownal near the border crossing into Massachusetts.
A passenger in a southbound vehicle threw an object “later determined to be a large pickle” that hit the highway worker and “caused him pain,” police said.

If the highway worker was not leaning over on his shovel he might have seen that pickle coming at him. And where did the pickle hit him because according to OHSHA he should have been wearing a helmet and goggles. So did this pickle break his arm or something? What a baby. Get a life dude. There are worse things than pickles out there and you better start growing up right now.
Can you imagine this guy out with the protestors, looters and tear gas? Well thank god none of the rioters were carrying pickles. Then the cops would really been in trouble. They should ban pickles along with lawn jarts and spray paint.

Former Defense Secretary Mattis truly is mad to put down President Trump because President Trump has done nothing militarily to stop the violence. Many Americans in some of these cities have been begging and pleading for help, but the leaders in these progressive states are ignoring their cries for help. Mattis must think it’s just great for people to be exploding ATMs, burning cities, and murdering.

Is there a reason she cannot live where she wants to?
Our very own mayor is on the Hancock border and does not seem to venture to far across the city. If she did she would see the garbage and bad roads. See if you can get the numbers of Pittsfield residents that have fled Pittsfield just in the last five years. Probably a good thousand or more with others packing up their shit every day.
Mazzeo will probably run for office in Dalton and they will be glad to have her. Tyer will be glad to see her go because she hates anyone looking over her shoulder. She likes to operate in the shadows with a council that behaves like a bunch of obedient puppies.

She lost and is now running away to a fancy 25 acre estate with a tennis court and pool.

Mr WW I’m sure you are smart enough to know Mrs Mazzeo was defeated by the Mr+Mrs Barry Show. What exactly do you think she owes this declining town? She served more than honorably for somewhere around 10 years. I don’t know her but she got my vote and I really feel she would have been what this crime ridden town needed instead of more liberal failed policies. More power to the Mazzeo family if this sale is true and WW start following Tyer policy and tax decisions you will have legitimate beefs to bitch about.

Went by the Dairy Queen on Tyler this afternoon. Big momma with her brood and no mask ordering her ice cream through the window. Reminded me of the day before at Walmart. I was in line of about five people waiting at the self check. Another big momma with three kids about 3, 4, and 5 in front of me. She was with a friend who was wearing a mask like a responsible person. Big momma has hers pulled below her chin for the whole fifteen minutes talking up a storm. Talking up a storm but not paying any attention at all to her three brats who had crawled under the tape and were ransacking the candy rack. They each had opened up at least one treat and took them with them when the clerk motioned her through to a register.
So I had to watch them because you just knew this tribe was going to put on a show. And the friend was scanning most of the stuff in a half full cart while big momma was taking stuff out of the cart and tossing it over the scanner into the bag, not being checked. The kids were eating their goodies and bounced all over the whole area on the floor like it was an arcade. I watched and of course the treats never got scanned.
As disgusted as I was I did not dare say anything because you could tell by her demeanor that she lived to have people say something to her so she could make a scene. Probably would have sued me and the store after she mopped the floor with me. Her three spoiled kids do not deserve a mother like her but sadly she has plenty of company.

Dan, I’ve had some experience at this, perhaps more than most. I would like to respond to a recent story. The story was titled, “NOT THE TIME TO BE SILENT: IN PERIOD OF TUMOLT, BERKSHIRE YOUTHS EMBRASSING ACTIVISM. My answer to youth in response to this is, “Don’t do it”. If you get in trouble, if you are arrested, if you are jailed, this is on your record for the rest of your life. It will work against you in getting into college, in getting accepted to a job, it will haunt you for the rest of your life. Be smart, keep studying, go to college, stay in training, it will help you forever. When you are an adult and understand what is going on, then make your intellectual choice on what is morally correct and accept the benefits or the failure of your choice. Don’t do this when these decisions are not for youths to make. Make your choice after you finish your education, or complete your training, don’t be misled..
