CRYPTOCURRENCY or CRYPTIC CURRENCY: RADICAL LEFT WANTS SUICIDAL SPENDiNG

PLANET VALENTI NEWS AND COMMENTARY

(FORTRESS OF SOLITUDE, MONDAY OCT. 4, 2021) — Why aren’t there more Democrats like former West Virginia Gov. Joe Manchin, now a senator from the Mountain State?

Manchin says he won’t support pairing his party’s irresponsible $3.5 trillion plan for new “gimme group” spending with a bipartisan $1.2 trillion spending authorization for America’s infrastructure. He advocates separating the two, passing the infrastructure bill and then the social services deal, which he says must be limited to $1.5 trillion. Without Manchin’s support, Dems lose their 50-50 edge over the Republicans, with the Vice President holding the deciding vote.

The radical left in the House, however, demands the “gimme” spending and infrastructure to be joined at the hip. It’s a form of blackmail to see that their ruinous spending gets passed — under duress, not that it bothers them. General Accounting Office analysts say the $3.5T will actually cost $5.5T, once “administrative and other associated costs” are factored in.

Ah, a trillion here, a trillion there. Pretty soon we’ll be talking real money (nod to Everett Dirksen).

———- ooo ———-

Manchin didn’t mince words in pointing out the hypocrisy: [“I’ve”] never been a liberal in any way, shape, or form.” He said that if Americans want more reckless spending, the kind advocated by the banshees known as The Squad, the should elect more extremist libs, who love Big Government not because it works (it doesn’t) but because it buys them votes (cheap at any price).

The Senate has already passed the infrastructure spending, a rare example of bipartisan cooperation, but the House has been the hang up. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, VP Kamala Harris (the Senate tiebreaker), and the shrills on The Squad continue to steer the party to the left extreme, where the marching orders are to pass the multitrillion dollar package for the “Gimme Groups” … or else. They don’t care about the best interests of Mary Jane and Joe Kapanski. They only want to play for the cheap seats. Sen. Mitch Mcconnell nailed it when he said Democrat leaders were “letting the radical left run Capitol Hill.”

Meanwhile Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders ate more of his own, blasting Manchin and Arizona Sen. Kyrsten Sinema. Feel the Bern knifed the two moderate Democrats for having the gall to say the the liberal spending plan was reckless, especially considering the debt-limit crisis. America’s only in debt for $28.5 trillion.

———- ooo ———-

While this meller-drama wheezes through the halls of capital hill, Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen questioned the usefulness of a debt ceiling. She’s got a point. Why bother with a spending limit when Congress considers that limit to be abstract and theoretical. In reality, the “debt limit” simply provides Capitol Hill cover, making it look like these slime balls actually think of We The People’s money as something they must safeguard.

Why not adopt Yellen’s suggestion and get rid of the debt ceiling altogether? This would eliminate the all-too-frequent and fake gnashing of teeth on Capitol Hill, a charade exercised for political purposes. Invariably, Congress reaches an 11th hour “solution” that they think makes them look like heroes.

Another consideration in wiping out the debt-ceiling limit can be found in the very crisis it was designed to eliminate, that is, holding the reins on US debt obligations.  In addition to regulating the country’s money supply, Treasury’s business is paying the country’s bills. Those bills originate in Congress. In other words, every bill received by Treasury has already been approved in Congress. The debt limit doesn’t limit debt or control spending. It limits the country’s ability to pay what it owes.

The third rail in all this, one that you NEVER hear government officials talk about, is to REDUCE SPENDING. The only ones who have to apply that remedy to debt avoidance and bill paying are those eternal stalwarts, of who government officials, elected and otherwise, see as suckers: Mary Jane and Joe Kapanski.

You see this dynamic played out on a smaller scale every year in Tyerville. Each year, Pittsfield’s tax base shrinks but the idiots in the corner office, the council, and the school committee approve sizable increases in spending.

They. Don’t. Care. About. You.

Theyonlycareaboutthemselves.

It’s not cryptocurrency.

It’s cryptic-currency, also known as “funny money.”

And cheer up, because you get to pay for them to play.

Members of U.S. Congress are legally allowed to take bribes from K Street lobbyist firms. 92% of the Members of U.S. Congress have these Slush Funds that are called Leadership PACs. Members of U.S. Congress get to live lavish lifestyles, and it is legal.

Has a candidate for office in Pittsfield stated the taxpayers are paying too much and we need to lower the tax rate? Come to think of it I haven’t heard a peep from anyone except Mr. Kronick. So where is everyone? Are they working on the voting machines and voting rolls to make sure they win?

Just walk around Pittsfield and you will hear how uneducated people are about all of this. People so glad they are getting their $250.00 dollars for each child they have and looking forward to an expansion of education to even younger children, not knowing or caring that this just means more time for big government to indoctrinate their kids to hate our country and turn them into activists for changing our country into a place that is totally dependent on big government. Money for activists to run around the country before every election to flip votes so that Democrats never lose an election is also part of these gigantic bills. Taxpayers will be footing the bill for these far left activists to make our elections meaningless. Americans need to demand to know everything that is in these bills and that will take a while since they are so large, but it’s the right of all Americans to know how many dangerous items are mixed in with only some that would be good.

Pittsfield is as far left as you can go so that is a big part of the problem. All the money goes to the elites while the people live mainly in poverty except for those in education who are in bed with the far left and get lots of goodies. What has been happening in Pittsfield will soon spread to the rest of the country under far left craziness.

It is not just left leanings but far left. The far left Blue Machine in the Berkshires is comprised of a tiny percentage of the population but a large portion of those who get out and vote. That’s why you see our pols butt licking with support for heavy taxes on the rich, heroin legalization and injection centers, ending cash bail on drug dealers, etc. The left has been radicalized by the far left. If people want to stop it they will need to get out and vote.

You are right Dan. We need an opposition party to rein in the excesses of the other side. It goes both ways, but many people don’t understand how necessary that balance is to keep greed and power in check. God forbid that the rest of the country turns into Pittsfield where the people having no voice at election time because the education system in this area controls who is elected in EVERY election, but that seems to be the direction that this country is headed. Public schools and even some private ones are in bed with big government and want more and more power and are even telling parents that they have no say in what their children are being taught in the schools. If big government wants to indoctrinate them, then parents need to get out of the way!

Black woman in Douglasville accused of pretending to be white man, threatening neighbors.

ATLANTA (CBS46) — A 30-year-old Douglasville woman named Terresha Lucas has been charged with making terroristic threats in the Brookmont subdivision of Douglasville.

According to the Douglasville Police Department, residents on Manning Drive began receiving notes last December from a person who claimed to be a white male member of the Ku Klux Klan. The notes threatened to burn down homes and kill people.

The police department’s investigation into the notes led them to Lucas, who is a Black woman.

Lucas, who described herself as a 6-foot tall, white male with a long, red beard, has been charged with 8 counts of making terroristic threats.

The first notes were received Dec. 21, 2020. Other notes were received Feb. 17, Feb. 22, March 1 and March 3. After a 6-month absence, a final note was received Sept. 6.

Until Sept. 6, Douglasville PD says it did not have much to go on. However, they got the break they needed on Sept. 6 when evidence was found linking the notes to the home of Lucas. Detectives were able to obtain a search warrant and then found other evidence that ties Lucas to the notes.

Lucas is expected to turn herself in this week.

Agreed. Kalinowsky has my vote. I don’t know much about Benoit but I’d be willing to give him a shot.

Unfortunately, that’s what I said about Yuki Cohen two years ago. She has seriously disappointed me. Not because of any wrongdoing, but simply because of no-doing. I don’t think she has made any single impact or difference on the council.

I do think the 4-year mayoral term needs to be reversed. It makes no sense to have 2-year council elections and 4-year mayoral elections. And it definitely doesn’t make sense to have 4-year terms for both.

We are talking about a relatively simple municipal government. Any mayor that’s doing fine in two years has an excellent chance of re-election. THAT’S how one should increase their term length, not by charter.

Karen Kalinowsky is running for one of four at large city council seats. She sounds like a common sense type of person and that’s what this city needs. Wouldn’t it be nice to walk down a sidewalk without falling over cracks and holes? Driving down a road without destroying your shocks and blowing out a tire? Our city is falling apart and we need somebody who is not a political agenda-driven animal and from what I’ve heard of her so far, she sounds like a great candidate for one of these seats.

The far left now wants to label parents as terrorists if they question what is being taught to their children in these big government run schools. If America continues down this authoritarian/Communist path, we will make the Nazis look like rookies. People need to begin to speak out loudly against the tyranny of our government. To compare parents who care for their children as similar to those arrested on January 6th is outrageous and should not be allowed to stand.

Pelosi, Chuck, and Joe have no mandate to push these expensive bills onto the American public. They didn’t have huge wins in 2020 and they have a very narrow advantage in the house and Senate. They want Republicans to support these bills along with them because Democrats know the bills will destroy this country and they don’t want to be the only ones taking the blame. They want to take down this country, but they want to be able to point the fingers at Republicans too for supporting this massive spending. Republicans need to back off completely from supporting these bills.

The radical left is ruling the day because they know how to win elections. Get a group of people with an issue that matters to them and get them out to vote. Win, rinse, repeat. Example: The right to vote should not extend to people behind bars. Once you have chosen to break the laws you should not be able to participate in making the laws. After time is served, this is a separate issue, and people should be able to vote again. It’s common sense.
It’s unfortunate that rather than work hard and long to fix the root problems that lead to incarceration in the first place such as lack of employment opportunities and ineffective public services, poverty, etc. our representatives want to just plaster another bandaid on it. The solution for them always the fastest easiest one that will fit on a list of “accomplisments.” That is how you get election success but fail to serve the community. Example: Andrea Harrington. Effective election, inability to do the job effectively.

I’m not surprised one bit anymore on where they feel they can get votes from. Voting from the grave is ok for them because it’s usually votes for the democrat party. The criminals and family of those behind bars will vote D and they know it. If votes from all the avenues they use to get them happened to vote in a different direction the democrats would scream to high heaven that these votes shouldn’t count and happen in the first place.

The Biden administration is intentionally causing a shortage of merchandise across the country. A big part of it is people sitting home and collecting big paychecks so there is nobody to drive the trucks across the country to deliver merchandise to stores. How long before women start complaining that they can’t find what they need in local stores? How long before people are fighting over a shortage of items? Not the elites though because they will pay top dollar to make sure they and their families have only the best. How long will it take for Americans to wake up to this con game being played by the Biden administration? Sitting home doing nothing is great for a short time, but when the country starts to fall apart because the Biden administration is intentionally killing the work ethic then everyone, except the wealthy far left Democrats, will be living in very impoverished conditions.
